Hi everyone, we are back with a car buyers review, today we take a look at the first generation Audi R8 with the internal code of ‘Type 42’ This was a more hardcore version then an Audi TT for instance. Were the TT was made for cruising, the R8 was more of a German built rival of the Italian sportscars. The relative small car was even available with a V10 engine, it is from an era where VAG made many interesting cars and had W8 and W12 engines for sale as well to showcase the innovation the company stood for.
First off all the obvious, buying, driving and maintaining an R8 is not cheap. Yes you can buy a high milage car, but this will be more expensive in the long run since replacement parts are not cheap.
